Meta - The Metaverse is Having Impact Today
The metaverse is making a positive impact today. And Meta wanted to prove this to policy makers.
Policy makers, like most of us, are confused by what the metaverse is, what it does and what it can offer. There’s also a heavy perception that it’s only for gamers.
For this project I worked closely with the team at Meta Public Affairs. We talked with companies all over Europe and the US to find how they were doing this. Many revealing how working in virtual environments allows them to treat patients more effectively, train staff in complete safety, make medicinal breakthroughs faster, engineer more economically and upskill careers that boost regional employment. With this work, I was able to set up the creative vision and foundation for the campaign.
The campaign featured real companies that are already using the metaverse, with Meta technology, to improve their way of working and, ultimately, bring about greater societal change. Real use cases, real impact.
